Thanks for reading. Guys, Taylor Swift decided to release her eighth studio album without warnings, and let me tell you, it is amazing. So I decided to match every song with a book, as I did for her previous album Lover. Hope you enjoy, I always have so much fun writing this kind of articles. I still have not read it, but I really want to, it seems so eerie and fascinating.
This book has the same vibe as this song feels. I love how sweet but at the same time sad it is, and this song particularly reminds me of a couple in this book.
Josie Silver has the magic touch. It was one of the easiest to pick, because this song really seems to be talking about Evelyn. This multi-divorced, crazy, and very very talented and independent woman will always have a special place in my heart. Here goes for the maddest woman this town has ever seen. Who knows if she never showed up what could have been? The boy was so in love, but she honestly gave so many signs.
And this classic has it all. I think it fits very well. Okay I admit it, all of these circus references make me think about one of the most famous circus stories of the last few years. It is very lyrical, just like this song, and I think Mirrorball is quite fitting with the character of Celia. She was my favourite in the story. I think the two girls that are the main characters in this book can sadly relate to Seven, but this song in my eyes still has a lot of hope and it depicts so well the frail feeling of childhood friendship, and how important it is.
I will forever be grateful to Taylor for writing this song. To my favourite childhood friend, wherever you are, I really hope you know I still got love for you and I love you to the moon and to Saturn. This song makes me so emotional, I really have no words. It is probably my favourite on this album beside Invisible String, and now that I thought about it I forever will think about Elio and Oliver.
I think Elio could be the narrator of this song. The frailty and the volatility of first love are so well described in this song, it honestly brings tears to my eyes. Taylor Swift will forever be the best songwriter of her generation in my eyes.
She was so underrated by one character in this book or was she? If you like stories about wonderful women, bands and music, this one is the book for you. The book is a masterpiece, and this song really matches well with the vibe of it.
I think this line fits perfectly with Marianne and Connell. This is my favourite song of the entire album, so it seems only fair that I use not only one book but two for this one. In both these books destiny is a very important part. Catherine Earnshaw has always been seen like a mad woman over the centuries, and I can totally see why, but at the same time I find her to be a well rounded and very complex and interesting character.
But I find her to be completely believable, and this song is so good for her. It is an amazing read if you like historical fiction books. The story is really good, and the romance is over the top. This song also talks about a high school romance, and what better than the popular series from Jenny Han? Okay, you have to bear with me for this one. What a book, what a song. The perfect way to end this album. Okay guys, I had so much fun writing this article. I hope you enjoyed because I love doing this article format.
And this album is honestly so amazing. Like you probably noticed, books and music are two of my favourite passions, so I would like to start a series in which I combine different books with different albums from various artists that I enjoyed.
It talks about ambitious people, and I interpreted that green light in the song in this particular case to be a big inspiration or a dream. They blew my mind and my heart with their banter and their love. They will forever have a special place in my heart. But I think this one fits perfectly with The Secret History. Also, this song is amazing, maybe my favourite on the album, so it could only go with one of my favourite books ever.
This song might seem a little bit harsh for a YA book, but believe me this YA book is dark. Yeah, this book is difficult to read, I still think about it after a year. Normal People is one of my favourite books of all time and the feelings in this book are so real that they actually make me weak.
Another amazing book by Taylor Jenkins Reid. This follows the story of Evelyn Hugo, a fictional actress in the golden years of Hollywood.
The atmosphere Jenkins Reid is able to create in this book will submerge you in the story and you will want to know everything about this amazing woman. I read this book quite some time ago, so I remember almost close to nothing of it, but I remember the premise being that a guy wrote a book about his childhood sweetheart, and they had a difficult relationship.
I think it fits perfectly with the theme of this song, which is one of my favourites on this album. This is actually quite simple, since every time I hear a car ride in a song I instantly think about Emma and Julian from The Dark Artifices series.
But, jokes aside, I really think this song is perfect to depict this relationship. Sometimes you find the stars, but sometimes life just gets in the way. It is one of my favourites of all times. I believe she could manage to play Evelyn throughout all the flashbacks. Then for the older version of Evelyn, the one Monique interacts with, I think Rita Moreno would be fantastic. This guy right here just has that Hollywood look, you know?
I can totally picture him as Don Adler. I believe she has the perfect features to portray this character. The singer may be too old now to play this role, but I think that Harry Styles might do it justice. This role was made for this actor!
When I read that Rex was playing Vronskij I totally lost it. This was the only choice I could have made. Here, have a French man so that you can hear him speak English in his adorable accent. Jokes aside, I personally think Garrel is amazing and I would love to see him in this role. I Still Love You. Reid expertly captures the hothouse nature of Hollywood, where a vicious gossip columnist could destroy a career and a star was only as good as the grosses of her last film.

Despite loss of her cameras and other technical equipment in the chaos of war, Hase was able to resume taking photographs in by the help of emigre friends who provided her with film and cameras to use. Among others subjects Hase documented was the reconstruction of St. Paul's Church in Frankfurt. From , her work focused on advertising, consisting mostly of plant portraits.

Hase's photographic compositions are comparable to a number of her avant-garde contemporaries such as Florence Henri, Ilse Bing, and Germain Krull. Elisabeth Hase was born in Germany and began her artistic studies in at the Art Academy in Frankfurt.
During World War II Hase was able to avoid the politicization of her work by retreating to her studio. This however would not prevent her work from being wholly untouched by the war. During the air raid on Frankurt in her cameras and other equipment were lost however, quite remarkably, her archives of glass and film negatives survived.
Most intriguing are Hase's self-portraits which experiment with identity and perceived reality. In one self-portrait she has photographed herself in the reflection of a silver sphere, she and the room are warped on the convex surface of the globe. In another image she is sprawled over a staircase as if fallen, with shoes and purse strewn likewise over the stairs.
This practice of role-playing and adopting different personas is seen throughout Hase's portraiture. Hase's work was exhibited in the show "Who is Afraid of Women Photographers?

In , she moved to the United Kingdom to pursue her studies in photography, before finally landing at the Arles national school of photography, from which she graduated with honours in , notably for her film "Family Archive". Katharine worked as in-house printer to photographer Lucien Clergue, in his Arles-based atelier, from up until his death in Her work has been exhibited in various collective shows, and bought by art-collectors from around the world.
Katharine Cooper regularly teaches workshops in the Arles region, whose Camargue landscapes and strong winds remind her of her homeland.
