Stephen left behind his widower Andrew Cowles, a dedicated family, friends, his fellow Boyzone members and a ton of heartbroken fans across the world. Stephen Gately had a special place in Boyzone, taking the joint lead singer role along with Ronan Keating and celebrating the band's many successes with the rest of the members with whom he shared an unbreakable bond.
